fall poems

This is a poem about fall.

Today on this windy day
the sun was low in the sky
cars with windshield wipers running passing by
rain pouring out of gutters and people
tightly closing their shutters
I get into my house I sit down and spread my quilt
and eat warm muffins with milk.

I would say this poem well describes a rainy day.

What a Great Descriptive Poem!!
I like the idea of being curled up in a quilt nibbling on warm muffins while it rains outside!

Polkie, I think your poem is great!
It captures my mind like fish and bait!
It's words have great weight.
If you keep writing in this state I'll keep up to date.
Even if I'm in a different state.
So keep the good work up.
The compliments come from....
Take a guess!
I'm almost as tall as a tree and I write with glee.
It's your Cousin--Also known as-- Almost like Homer.
So keep it up!
Your words inspire with great fire.
Yet are beautiful like music played on a lyre
